Travis A. Fritsch
Travis A. Fritsch serves as the Project Manager for the Intimate Partner Violence Surveillance Project, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BA in Pschology and MS in Home Economics with specialty areas of Family Law, Family LIfe Education and Family Therapy. Ms. Fritsch has 25 years experience in the field of violence against women. She has been a law enforcement instructor since 1980 (KLEC, FLETC certified) and first qualified as a domestic violence court expert in Kentucky, 1982. Ms. Fritsch is also a licenced social worker. She has collaborated on state and national publications, protocols, curricula, community consultations, and research in a variety of disciplines (medical, justice, corrections, education, social sciences, faith community, etc.). Ms. Fritsch focuses on best practices for collaboration between researchers and practitioners working to reduce and prevent violence against women. She also conducts evidence-based community education and professional training throughout Kentucky and the nation.
